April Lockhart
April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began with guitar and piano in seventh grade. This sparked the interest of her. April's very first song was called Different, which she wrote when she was 12 years old. When she was 14 April spent a lot of time in creating song concepts and practicing her musical skills. The following months, she began taking notes with her father in LA as well as NY. April started to incorporate various other topics relevant to the Take my Hand song for some acquaintances, including peer pressure issues and suicide among teens. Lockhart is a lifestyle and beauty influencer with a growing following. She works with popular brand Ilia with whom she has a partnership in addition to being a lifestyle expert. As a woman born with no left hand, she has a significant part to play in herself. However, it's not the entire tale. Lockhart acknowledges her handicap on her Instagram account, but she does not make it the main focus of it. It's a message. The message? That we each contain multitudes, that our identities and physical selves are not all that they seem. I don't want that to be the only thing that defines me. I don't want to be a disability influencer where it's the only thing I discuss because there are many different things about me. Lockhart states in video form from her home in Nashville. It doesn't affect my life. All is well and I have learned to make adjustments. Since it's a part of who I am and something worthy of talking about. Self-acceptance is a lifelong marathon but Lockhart is an absolute inspiration on that front. Still she admits she's gone through phases with her body, at times, being unsure about wearing particular types of clothes showing off her arms. Today, she wears anything she wants. She also posts her photos on social media. It's all a process is the key thing I'm not certain that you ever arrive she says about self-love. However, that is common for anyone that is prone to doubts. It's my opinion that having those with you who know you and see your heart is really important because they'll be the people that remind you of what are you worried about?
