Maribel was born in Virginia in the United States and was raised there by her parents. Details about the siblings are infrequent. At a young age she wanted to pursue a career in the field of law in the hopes of becoming an attorney. After high school graduation, she went to at the University of Virginia, where she graduated with an emphasis in German and Foreign Policy. The university is one of the most historically rich universities in the US and dates its beginnings from 1819 which was the year that it was established with the help of Thomas Jefferson, one of the authors of the Declaration of Independence. In Jefferson's Academical Village a UNESCO World Heritage Site is situated, where the school now has more than a dozen different courses. The campus covers 1600 acres of land for its main campus and many more acres for the Research Park and Farm. Maribel was a student for her Juris Doctor at New York Law School following graduation from the bachelor's program. Maribel Aber NYLS has an impressive faculty, including many who are also experienced with the legal and business world.
